First TriUltimate Racing Inc Signature Event
This year is the 9th annual edition of this 300yd swim, 8 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run. "First Tri" will be a great first timers race or "B" race tune up. Sign up today, as we are capping this event at 110 athletes. All participants will receive a T-shirt and finisher medal. - Race day registration and Chip pick-up starts at 5:45 a.m. and closes sharply at 7:00 a.m.

Pre-Race Information
- Arrival Time: Arrive at race site no later than 6:00 a.m. for Packet Pickup
- A Mandatory Pre-Race Meeting will be held in the pool area at 7:15 a.m. to review all instructions
Race Information
Transition Area
- There will be a marked transition area with enough slots for each participant.
- No bike storage the night before the race.
- Participants only in the transition area.
- Only the race participant will be allowed to remove his/her bike from the transition area.
- Participants will not be allowed to mount bikes inside transition area - and will be made to dismount prior to transition area entrance following the bike segment.
- Your bike can only be racked in front of your assigned bib number.
Swim - 300 Yards
The swim is a 300 yard pool swim in the Queen's Harbour Sports Complex Pool, which will be staffed by lifeguards. Participants start at one side of the pool and snake their way up and down each lane as they work towards the other side of the pool. Swimmers must submit an accurate projected completion time for the 300yd swim for their TT assignment. Changes can be made up until 5:00 p.m. on April 24, 2016.
- Swimmers will be lined up in numerical order for race start.
- One swimmer will start every ten seconds.
- Be prepared to be at the swim start no later than 7:20 a.m.
- There will be a water station as you enter the transition area.
- If you feel like you need assistance during the swim - raise your hand above your head.
Bike - 8 Miles
- NO DRAFTING!
- It is important that slower cyclists stay to the right.
- Hard shell helmets must be worn.
- Helmets must be fastened before leaving the transition area.
- No headphones, earphones or any radio-type devices will be allowed!
- There are plenty of volunteers along the course but it is ultimately your responsibility to know the course.
Run - 3.1 Miles
- You must display your race number on your front as you cross the finish line.
- Aid stations will be located at the beginning of the run, 1 mile mark, 2 mile mark, and the finish line.
- No headphones, earphones or any radio-type devices will be allowed.
- There are plenty of volunteers along the course but it is ultimately your responsibility to know the course.
Awards
Award presentations will begin approximately 9:30 a.m. You must be present to collect your award, or have someone get it for you.
